 The world is dead. Or has it always been dead? Wars, plagues and disasters consumed the world before the real trouble started, so who is to say when it really started to happen? When the world really did start to go to hell? Let’s just say our little “The world has gone to hell in a hand basket” phrase is an understatement. Because, quite frankly, our earth has become hell.
It all started in 2012, that magical date that people had joked about in the years before. No one is laughing now. No, people aren’t breathing now. And those that are breathing… well, let’s just say they wish they were dead. Politics started it and another war ensued, which was on the scale of a world war between only two countries.
During the middle of this great head butting of two giant empires, a strange virus ripped through the human population. People dropped like flies. Those that survived… have mutated into something that isn’t human anymore. They’re freaks in a place where there aren’t humans anymore, alone without family or friends. Even an enemy would be nice to see. But even they’re all dead.
